New Years Haute Heels

December 29, 2010

Arguably the single most important fashion accessory that can make or break any outfit… SHOES! If you’re thinking about wearing a more neutral frock to your NYE holiday fest, then by no means should you go easy on the shoes. And I say, the higher the heel, the sparklier the shoe, the better. Whether it be trimmed in gold or all over shimmer, any of these shoes are likely to put dear Dorothy’s red slippers to shame.

1. Steve Madden Haylow-G in gold glitter $89.95

2. Topshop Lexi Suede Block Heel Sandals in black $145 $50

3. Aldo Fawson High Heel in silver $100 $55.99

4. Forever 21 Sequin Pumps in black $28.80

5. Forever 21 Cracked Metallic Heels in silver $19.80

6. Christian Louboutin Poseidon 120 Pumps in gold $1,195 $863. 50

7. Enzo Angiolini ‘Smiles’ Platform Pump in silver $94.95

8. Aldo Baisley Peep-Toe Pump in bordeaux $80

9. Glint Kathryn Sandal in silver $109.95

(#6… also out of my price range, but it’s a little dream of mine to own a pair of Christian Louboutin’s as beautiful as these!)

I’ve been lusting over number 8 for weeks now trying to remind myself of why I shouldn’t buy them, but they are so dreamy. And now I’m kind of drooling over the number 1’s as well! It’s taking all my willpower to resist the urge to spend.
